Ryan S. Showalter                                            Managing Partner

Ryan Showalter’s practice mainly focuses on automobile, construction, premises liability and general negligence claims. Mr. Showalter has defended construction companies, including both general and subcontractors, in construction litigation involving personal injury, construction defects and breach of contract claims. He had defended both business owners and individuals in slip and fall cases. Mr. Showalter has handled claims in both state and federal courts. In addition, he has taken numerous cases to verdict.

He obtained his undergraduate degree from the Indiana University and earned his law degree from Western Michigan University-Cooley Law School. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association and the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel.

Vesic v. Elk Grove Truck Repair (14 L 8624 Cook County); Represented a truck repair company wherein Plaintiff sought significant damages for serious personal injuries sustained from a fall occurring on the property. Obtained a complete dismissal of all claims on behalf of client.

Metropolitan Construction v. Provancal Brothers. (13 L 2713 Cook County); Represented a plumbing company wherein Plaintiff sought significant damages based on claims of construction negligence and defects. Obtained a complete dismissal of all claims against client.

Amy J. Hemmingsen

Ms. Hemmingsen received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Iowa and her J.D. from Creighton University School of Law and has been engaged in the practice of law for over 20 years.  She is an experienced trial lawyer, having tried numerous cases to verdict. She practices in Cook, DuPage, Kane, Will and Kankakee Counties.

She is admitted to practice law in all Illinois and Nebraska State Courts. She is a member of the United States District Court, Northern District of Illinois Trial Bar, as well as admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals, for the 7th Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.

She practices in the areas of the defense of personal injury, premises liability, construction negligence, and products liability matters.

Ms. Hemmingsen is a member Illinois State Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association. She is a member of the Chicago Bar Association Judicial Evaluation Committee. She also holds membership in the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel. She has lectured at professional seminars.

Christina Cecchini

Ms. Cecchini was born and raised on the northwest side of Chicago, Illinois. She attended high school at Trinity in River Forest, Illinois.  Ms. Cecchini received her Bachelor’s Degree, Magna Cum Laude, from DePaul University and her J.D. from Loyola University School of Law.  She is admitted to practice law in all Illinois State Courts.

Christina practices in the areas of personal injury, subrogation, premises liability, auto and construction liability. She has tried cases to verdict.  She also has expertise in uninsured/underinsured claims.

Ms. Cecchini is a member of the Women’s Bar Association, Justinian Society of Lawyers, Chicago Bar Association, and Illinois State Bar Association.
